I remember when graduating with my Associates I felt like the process was much easier after completion. That feeling didn’t change with my bachelors; I feel the same sense of easement. Completion must soften the memory of all the grueling work and sleepless weeks...no months. Commencement may be over, but I am a glutton for punishment. Bring on the next challenge... my arms are wide open and what’s next but an open road with very little maps to guide me.

Time for celebration!! My baby bro is off to the STATE wrestling ternament in Omaha, Nebraska. February 11th, he placed third at Districts. He is a man of many tallents, piano artist, unicyclist, and can make you laugh regurgitating movie quotes.

In January, my best friends, the Lemmerts, moved to China to better humanity by becoming English teachers. I have since found out that their covert ambition was to become famous, rivaling Hello Kitty. In the above picture, Lacey is strutting (well, pointing) her stuff on a BILLBOARD. That’s right, folks, forget the shy Lacey she insists she is. Oh no, and to add to this dramatic psyche change, she insists we, her minions, send GIFTs (heavy on the cinnamon, specialty coffees, women’s shaving cream AND razors)! Next she will be requiring that I go to visit her and give her spa treatments.
